WORK WITH ME
Recording • Production • Mixing
For rock, progressive, post-rock and alternative artists.
Based in Trondheim, Norway, but also available for remote sessions.
Make records that stand up next to the music you love
You already have the songs and the vision. The challenge is turning them into a finished record that feels complete — emotionally, sonically, and artistically — on the same level as the music that inspired you to start in the first place. That’s where I come in.
I’m Rhys Marsh — producer, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist based at Autumnsongs Recording Studio in Trondheim, Norway, with 20+ years of experience helping artists shape, refine, and realise their music
I help artists shape that process into records that feel intentional, immersive, and ready to stand alongside the work they admire — not demos, not sketches, but fully-realised albums.
“Working with Rhys has been a joyful experience from the beginning to the end.”
— Mari Klingen (Lumsk)

The Studio
Autumnsongs Recording Studio is a focused recording space designed for full-band performance, and immersive, record-orientated production.
The room is built to capture energy at the source — where interaction, feel, and dynamics matter as much as technical precision.
A large live room suited for drums and full ensemble tracking, with flexible isolation options when separation is needed.
Analogue–Hybrid Workflow
A combination of analogue front-end recording with modern digital workflow, bringing together tone, depth, and character with precision and flexibility. The emphasis is on capturing performance and sonic identity early, then refining the record without losing its emotional core.
This approach allows recordings to stay musical and alive, while still offering full control through the production and mix stages.
Why it matters
- Records are built from strong performances, not over-editing
- Depth, space, and tone is captured early in the process
- The final record retains energy, depth, and intent through every stage of production
Who I work best with
I tend to get the best results with:
- Rock / progressive / post-rock bands
- Singer-songwriters with a strong artistic vision
- People who want collaboration — not for me to just “press record”
- I typically work with artists who are serious about making full records
If that sounds like you, we’ll likely work well together.
What makes this different
There are plenty of studios.
What you’re really choosing is a person to trust with your music.
Working from Autumnsongs Recording Studio in Trondheim, I have a dedicated analogue–hybrid studio, built for full-band recording and production.
Clients come to me because:
- Experience – 20+ years producing, recording, and releasing music
- Musicianship – I understand your music from the inside
- Honesty – I’ll tell you what the song needs, not just what’s easy
- End-to-end process – from idea → recording → mix → finished song
